Anne-Sophie is a lecturer in Global Health at the School of Politics and International Studies, University of Leeds. Her work bridges International Relations and Public Health, with particular interests in the international politics of antimicrobial resistance, health systems resilience, and One Health. Current projects examine how health data and algorithms shape global governance for AMR and the role of informal providers for AMR stewardship. Her regional focus is South Asia, Tanzania, and Brazil. She is interested in critical IR theory, including decolonial studies and international political economy. Her work has been published in Nature Medicine, the British Medical Journal, and the Lancet, among others.
Beyond academia she has advised the World Health Organization, the World Bank, the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response, philanthropic foundations and several NGOs.
