Luke Collins is a Senior Research Associate at the ESRC Centre for Corpus Approaches to Social Science. His research interests are in applications of corpus linguistics to media representations of science and health communication and he has written on climate change reporting as well as antimicrobial resistance in the UK press.
His forthcoming book demonstrates how corpus linguistics approaches can be applied to forms of online communication and will be published with Routledge in 2019.
In September 2018, Luke presented his work titled, “Who or what has agency in the discussion of antimicrobial resistance in the UK news media (2010-2015)?” at a research symposium, hosted by the AMIS programme.
