Victoria Saint is a global public health researcher and policy analyst specialising in health equity and the social determinants of health (SDH). Since 2019 she has worked as a research associate in the School of Public Health at Bielefeld University, Germany. Her doctoral research focuses on the equity, SDH and gender dimensions of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Victoria also works as a consultant for the International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS), to support teams in six LMICs to integrate gender and equity dimensions in AMR implementation research projects in the human health and animal health sectors. She is also currently working with the AMR Division at WHO headquarters to finalise an evidence synthesis and guidance for national stakeholders on integrations equity dimensions of AMR (publication expected Q4 2025).

Victoria was a Technical Officer at WHO (Department of Public Health, Environmental and Social Determinants of Health) in Geneva from 2013 to 2015, and continued with the department as a retained consultant until 2017, then working as an independent consultant for UN and academic organisations until 2019. Prior to this she worked in technical and research positions in Australia, Sweden, Germany and India.
