Justin is a medical anthropologist in the LSHTM Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Centre and is currently working on the social science component of the FIEBRE study in Sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia. The FIEBRE social science work explores the roles of antimicrobial medicines in the management of febrile illness, amidst concerns about the ‘overuse’ of antimicrobials in the era of rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) for malaria.
