Associate Professor Chris Degeling is a social scientist and empirical bioethicist – Chris leads programs of research focuses on the intersection of social and public health policy and infectious disease control and prevention. Recent NHMRC and Commonwealth government funded projects focus on bringing citizens and service users into deliberation on policy questions surrounding One Health, communicable disease surveillance systems, vaccination strategies and AMR mitigation in Australia.
