Mark Davis is medical sociology lead for the Monash Centre to Impact Antimicrobial Resistance where he advises on public engagement and lived experience-led policy design. Mark has led research on AMR news stories in Australia, publics and their knowledge and practices related to infection, immunity and the use of antibiotics, and expert discourse on stewardship of antibiotic use, One Health and clinical risk management. Mark has developed guidance for public communications and the prevention of AMR and Antibiotic Stories, which summarises general public experiences of antibiotic use in human and companion animal healthcare.
